Reduce and eliminate age spots, brown pigments, discoloration, and redness due to broken capillaries with Lumecca IPL.

What is Lumecca IPL?

Lumecca IPL is a high-tech, high-impact photo-rejuvenation system designed to remedy a range of blemishes and skin imperfections. The procedure works by beaming light onto the skin’s surface in short pulses to promote collagen production and rejuvenate skin from within. With multiple sessions spread over a treatment regimen, the laser pulses help fade spots, fine lines, redness, pores, broken capillaries, rosacea signs, and even under-eye circles. Safe and non-invasive, our Lumecca IPL procedure is a top-of-the-line skincare solution that corrects photo-aged skin and evens out tone and texture.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Lumecca IPL is the most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) to treat pigmented and vascular lesions. Lumecca IPL operates using photothermolysis, which provides a photofacial through the delivery of a comfortable light treatment.

In just 1-3 sessions Lumecca IPL improves the appearance of:

  • Age spots (red/brown pigmentations)
  • Vascular lesions such as facial telangiectasias (spider veins) and poikiloderma
  • Rosacea (redness)
  • Freckles
  • Sun damage

Lumecca IPL can be used on all areas of the body. The most common treatment areas are zones regularly exposed to the sun. This often includes the face, neck, décolletage, legs, hands, and arms.

An improved skin appearance can be noted after the first session. Multiple sessions
provide even better results. The Lumecca treatment regime depends on the severity of skin damage, skin type, and type of treatment (vascular versus sun damage).

Pigmented areas may begin to flake after a few days. Cold compresses (not ice) and recommended skin care products may be useful to reduce swelling or discomfort. You may takeover-the-counter pain or anti-inflammatory medication. Hydrocortisone(steroid) cream may decrease any itching or skin irritation. Antibiotic ointment (such as Neosporin) may be used if skin is broken, to prevent infection. Your skin will be fragile for 2-3 days.
